Core Products

Complete Automatic Tablet/Capsule Bottle Filling and Packaging Lines at the speeds of 15, 30, 60, 120, 200 and 300 bottles per minute.

Actual speeds will vary based on bottle neck diameter and the shape and size of the product.

Customer loyalty and repeat orders have been the key for our long term success. It’s because we make promises and we keep them. We are building credibility and deepening trust with customers. Countec is one of the few machine manufacturers in the world that designs, manufactures, and assembles the entire bottle packaging equipment for tablets and capsules. With our experience, technology, and craftsmanship, we provide our customers the best quality products that meet the highest quality requirements of the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.

Becoming an Innovative leader, striving for Continuous Improvement

Since the first tablet counting machine (model DW-6) was developed decades ago, Countec has focused to make it faster, more compact, and more efficient. While the DMC60S/DMC120 is still one of the fastest, most compact tablet counters in the world for the size, Countec has raised the bar again with the high performance tablet counters model DMC200 & DMC300 that can produce up to 300 bottles per minute while providing online vision inspection for tablets (broken/chipped, wrong color, wrong size, wrong shape). And the 100% vision counting systems eliminated the need of vibrators and cylinders all innovatively designed to give the customer all of the technological advantages possible.

High speed capping, extremely low rejection rate

Our servo driven rotary capper series were developed in response to the high rejection rate due to capping failure from the conventional capping systems. The most critical point of failure was when the bottle takes the cap from the chute. The dwell time for a cap to stably sit on a bottle was too short and the angle at the end of the chute was too stiff. With patented cap placement technique, caps are horizontally picked up by the size dedicated tool and transferred to the chuck station at the same speed of bottles.

The chuck holds each cap and descends down while rotating, it gently places the cap on the bottle at 90 degrees angle. As a result, smooth continuous operation is guaranteed. The capping torque control, also driven by servo motors, allows to set the desired torque from the touch screen and displays real time torque. Bottle inspection and rejection for no cap, no foil, loose and skewed caps is available.

Countec specializes in producing quality machines at affordable prices. Countec has 40 years of experience in the manufacturing of packaging machines for the pharmaceutical industries, and has the most efficient production planning and control system to ensure competitive prices. We also have a major focus on developing new design and optimizing production, and the resulting benefits are shared with our customers as we always seek to over deliver and over satisfy the customers.

The INSPECSEAL inspects and analyzes container or package seals using a non-destructive/non-invasive method of thermal vision system. A thermal imaging scan analysis of the seal area through the cap can be produced instantly, detecting defects immediately after the package has been sealed. Defects that can be detected through the technology include: under or overheated seals, damaged foil, reverse foil, no foil, loose cap and tilted cap.

If the high-tech camera detects a flaw, the product can be directed to dual reject bins (for certainty & ambiguity). The system can produce reports with reject rates, reject reasons and reject patterns, so you can immediately identify and correct the issue, which significantly reduces the quantity of defective packages produced.

Countec Vision System (COVISS) is a vision inspection system to detect defects from tablets and capsules as they are moving on the vibratory trays of a tablet counter. Upon detection, the bottle containing any defective product is removed from the line. With a surprisingly easy setup method and its ability to integrate into the existing tablet counter, COVISS has been widely accepted in the pharmaceutical industry as an essential and very useful part of the tablet/capsule packaging operations.

The COVISS vision inspection system can identify problems in products, such as broken and/or chipped tablets, black spots, wrong color, wrong size and shape. The highly sensitive, high-resolution cameras are programmed with vision flaw-detection algorithms that look for changes in color, texture, pattern or set structures according to pre-defined criteria.
